Bob is an artist, designer and researcher working within the increasingly dynamic interactions between art, design and science. Recently working as a VFX Supervisor and Art Director for short films and VR animations, after departing Microsoft Research's Human Experience & Design Group, where he spent many years as a Senior Interaction Designer and Researcher.
A belief that our points of interaction with content and technology should be beautiful, appropriate and resonate emotionally with the audience, Bob is a passionate visual designer with a background in design research, UX/UI, videography, graphic design and interaction design. He enjoys working in interdisciplinary and team-working environments. During his career he has been lead designer across multiple flagship projects and briefs. Day to day, he loves to work on interaction design challenges, layout and typography, design systems, UX-flows and collaborations between marketing, development and design, always employing human-centred design thinking.
There’s something in the chaos, something fundamental, something about being made of atoms forged in the hearts of dying stars. Inextricably linked to our universe, where consciousness arose, made from its materials, emerged from the chaos, immersed in its beauty. We propagate structure, the universe tends to tear it down.
