Two elastic bands rotate at 20 bpm. On each of the bands there is a knot, the starting point of the loop. The knot triggers a micro switch which plays a digital sound. The two Loops generate a simple rhythm. A small pulley placed mid-loop can be slid to stretch the elastic band, and elongate the audio loop.
The temporal symmetry is offset by lengthening either or both of the physical loops, changing the nature of the rhythm.
